Behind the scenes

16# THE HIDDEN SIDE OF A WEBSITE

For the creation of the website, I am very lucky, I know a talented webdesigner: Simon Rautureau.

Portrait Simon Rautureau

To introduce Simon, I can only tell you about him from my little sister’s point of view. Simon was born and raised in Angers. If I had to describe him, I would say that he is the amazing combination of a creative and rational mind. His eclectic tastes and thirst for knowledge make him a curious and ever-changing person.

Attracted since always by the creation, Simon is quickly carried by his universe.

Graduated from the school Sépia-Brassart, he quickly moved to the web for the unlimited possibilities that this field offers him. Always ready to broaden his horizons, Simon is a jack-of-all-trades who has found plenty of fun in the meandering world of the web.

So when I told him about my business creation project, he was immediately a driving force. He was a great source of ideas from the start and I knew I could count on him to create the website.

« When we were kids I used to make you play house. Making you your website is kind of like making the ultimate play house! »

MAKE A BEAUTIFUL SITE

We wanted to keep the coherence of the graphic design until the website.

So we worked as a team on the website: Simon, Léa-Pop and me.

Simon was in charge of the technical part. After sending him the specifications, Léa-Pop made the mock-ups. Once the models were validated from an aesthetic and technical point of view, Simon’s objective was to transcribe them onto the website.

A website is built progressively and requires many adjustments. The steps that followed testify to this: the addition of content, the replay of the graphic designer, the adjustments, the animations, the verification on mobile.

The weeks that followed were punctuated with improvements and tests to remove the loading bugs and to have a functional site.

THANK YOU SIMON

Once the objective was reached, I could now use this new interface to present my product.
I would like to take the opportunity of this article to thank my brother Simon for having realized the Marine Coton website and of course for having shared his knowledge with me so that I could in turn discover the hidden side of a website.

Meanwhile, the manufacturing of the first product started, a real show in perspective.

To be continued…
