Denim, or jeans, are a wardrobe staple, durable and timeless. However, to ensure that your denim retains its appearance and longevity, proper care is essential.

STEP 1: THE FIRST WASH

When washing a new pair of jeans, turn them inside out to protect the color, and use your Accord Infini detergent made with natural ingredients to avoid damaging the fabric.

STEP 2: WASHING

To preserve the color and shape of your denim, wash in cold or lukewarm water (30 degrees maximum). Use your Marine Coton detergent and avoid softeners, which can make the fabric less durable.

STEP 3: DRYING

Air-drying is best for your denim. Hang it inside out or lay it flat to avoid warping. Avoid tumble-drying wherever possible, as heat can cause shrinkage.

STEP 4: STAINS

If you find stains on your jeans, act quickly. Use a clean, damp cloth to gently dab the stain. If necessary, apply a little mild soap and rub gently. Avoid vigorous rubbing to avoid damaging the fabric. For food stains, follow the guide!

STEP 5: DAILY CARE

Avoid washing your denim every time you wear it. Excessive washing can cause fading and wear to the fabric. Instead, air out your jeans by hanging them outside or placing them in a well-ventilated area to eliminate odors. After 3 or 4 days’ wear, you can wash them.

STEP 6: STORAGE

To preserve your jeans when you’re not wearing them, fold them carefully and store them in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight, as this can cause discoloration.
